Lower Winsford FarmangelaEdit Profile

Since moving to Lower Winsford Farm, we have discovered one thing.

We also admit New animals at Lower Winsford Farm are hard to resist.

Our farm family has grown once more. New animals at Lower Winsford Farm include two very busy little pigs and four beautiful horses.

Spot & Squiggle

Spot and Squiggle the new farm pigs

Spot and Squiggle are our Kune Kune cross Juliana pigs. We originally went “just to have a look”—but, as you can probably imagine, that didn’t quite go to plan. We immediately fell in love with them, and before long, they were on their way home with us.

They are incredibly intelligent, wonderfully nosy and always eager to know what is happening. They have already settled into farm life beautifully and are keeping us entertained with their busy little personalities.

Tarka, Leonard, Florence and Fizzy

As if two new pigs weren’t enough, four gorgeous horses have also made Lower Winsford Farm their home.

Tarka is our inquisitive girl who likes to keep a close eye on everything we are doing. She is always ready to come over for a neck scratch and make sure she isn’t missing out on anything.

Leonard is currently going through his cheeky toddler stage and wants to investigate absolutely everything. If there is mischief to be found, Leonard will usually be somewhere nearby!

Baby Fizzy loves to play, explore and then suddenly collapse for a well-earned sleep. Her mum, Florence, enjoys those peaceful moments while Fizzy is napping—something many parents will understand!

The farm horses have settled in well

Their arrival has certainly created plenty of extra work for Michael, who has been busy building shelters and making the ground more stable. We are now permanently covered in mud, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

With our alpacas, pygmy goats, rescue hens, Gary the rooster, pigs and horses, we think we can finally officially call Lower Winsford Farm a proper farm!

We can’t wait for our guests to meet our newest arrivals and watch their personalities develop. They have already brought even more character, laughter and chaos to life here—and we are sure there will be plenty more stories to share very soon.
